We have a great opportunity for someone to support our accounts team with key accounting tasks, to ensure the smooth running of the department. 


A bit about the role:

This is a really varied role to keep the perfect candidate on their toes!  Some of the key duties include:

  • Validating purchase ledger invoices, posting them into company accounts system.
  • Coding purchase ledger transactions, dealing with additional accounting treatment required.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Approving and reviewing external affiliate transactions.
  • Managing the import process of purchase ledger transactions into the relevant software.
  • Providing additional support to accounts payable and accounts receivable, as required. Including managing supplier payments, posting and reconciliation of cashbook transactions and provide accounts payable performance reporting.


What we need from the right person:

 We need an all-round strong administrator, with top notch organisational and prioritisation skills.

Working in Accounts naturally means working with numbers and sensitive information, so being comfortable with this, alongside having a keen eye for detail and a love of analysing information is a must.

Our accounts team are passionate about what they do a have a strong team ethic.  They have developed excellent working relationships across the business, so we need someone with passion, as well as brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.

Having previous experience of working in an accounts department, as well as being familiar with accounting systems and terminology is an advantage, but is not essential.
