About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our Food Production team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will work across our various food outlets on the West Dean Sussex campus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Operate and maintain dishwashers and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety within the kitchen at all times.
• Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.

Hours & Salary

We are looking for someone to work on a part time basis and we can offer either a part time/permanent contract or a casual worker agreement.  Details of both are as below:
 
CONTRACT TYPE:  Part Time / Permanent

HOURS:  14 or 21 hours per week / worked over 7 days (including bank holidays and weekends)
SALARY:  £11.44 per hour - raising to £11.67 from October 2024

SALARY:  £11.44 per hour - raising to £11.67 from October 2024, plus 12.07% holiday pay
