Are you a UI Designer looking for the next problem to solve? Are you ready to push the boundaries and help accelerate Goodwood’s digital growth?

Goodwood’s mission is simple, we want to be the home of exceptional experiences. We’re inspired by our heritage and are continuously striving to do things even better

As part of this commitment we’re continuing our digital transformation with bigger and bolder ambitions, with the team now focusing on transforming the way our customers purchase from us. This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone like you to drive positive change and have a real impact

The majority of your work will involve designing and prototyping - testing components, templates and user flows for our websites, whilst also acting as a mentor, to support and inspire our in-house Junior UX/UI Designer. Together, with the support of agency partners, you’ll be crafting high-quality designs, creating accessible experiences for our customers and fans across the entire spectrum of the business.

You'll be driven and passionate about design and technology. You know that design is a critical element of any successful product, and you want to use your skills to craft beautiful, frictionless experiences that delight our customers. You’ll have an eagle eye for detail and an ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions. You understand that good design is not just about making things pretty—it's about making them work better for people.

What you’ll get up to

  • Be a key player in this project, transforming business objectives and user requirements into impactful user journeys. You'll design intuitive experiences, craft compelling visuals, and turn concepts into actionable solutions.
  • Adopt a pragmatic approach, balancing the ideal user experience with strategic trade-offs based on technical constraints, experimentation priorities, and business risk management.
  • Validate and iterate on designs using research and data wherever possible.
  • Work closely with our Junior UX/UI Designer to develop Goodwood’s Digital Design System, adding commentary and documentation to your designs.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and sharing designs throughout the design process
  • Collaborate regularly using strong communication, documentation, and facilitation skills. You’ll work with the Digital team, Marketing, Brand, Data, and Insight departments and external development agencies to bring Goodwood’s brand to life online, deeply involving them throughout the design process.

Qualities you will possess

  • Highly analytical with impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently balanced with a desire to learn and develop your career with other in-house experts
  • Proactive thinker, always looking at how we can innovate and improve our digital experiences
  • A naturally creative thinker, willing and able to find graceful solutions to technical problems
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects at once and able to switch focus to adapt to shifting business priorities
  • A love for tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals

What do you need to be successful

  • You’re a Figma pro, have Adobe CC experience, and can hit the ground running.
  • 5+ years of UI design experience
  • Exceptional UI design skills, including interaction design.
  • Can drive and able to travel to the Goodwood Estate on a daily basis.
  • You think deeply about design, from products to interactions, and have a strong understanding of design principles.

  • Have big ideas, a great eye and impeccable attention to the smallest of details
  • Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
